Nicole Gaouette is a veteran journalist bringing more than 25 years of journalism and strategic communications experience to AMENA Foundation. She has reported from over 50 countries on national security, diplomacy, economics and politics for newspapers, multimedia companies, digital publications and magazines. She was  based in Asia, the Middle East, Europe and Washington. She served as Vice President of Communications at the Wilson Center (2022-2025). Ms. Gaouette has a BA from McGill University in Montreal and received her Masters of Science in Journalism at Columbia University in New York.
