Alex Farley

Alexander Farley is an analyst with over a decade of experience working on on the Middle East and North Africa regions. He specializes in the unique overlap between labor markets, post-secondary education, entrepreneurship, and digital transformation. As the ranking associate for the Middle East Program at the Wilson Center, Alex explored the development of the startup ecosystem in the Middle East and challenges with graduate unemployment. In addition, Alex served as Chief Editor for the program's publications in addition to managing grant activities and its overall budget. Alex holds a Master of Arts in International Studies and Master of Public Administration from the University of Washington in Seattle. He previously lived in Morocco and Jordan and is professionally proficient in Arabic and French.
